Who introduced me to Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita with particular reference to \u2018Karma Yoga\u2019 during my childhood  itself . She was married at the age of 15. She was a loving mother and managed her household responsibilities most efficiently till all her children (3 sons & 4 daughters) had settled down in life. She was always very kind to needy people and helped them with alms whenever possible. She had left for her heavenly abode after seeing her great  grand   children.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Author of the book celebrated \u2018Diamond Jubilee\u2019 of Selfless Soldiering and Public Service (30 June, 1963-30 June,2023) on 14 November, 2023 (84th<\/sup> birth day) with the family members in DSOI Dehradun. The draft of the book titled \u2018Selfless Soldiering and Public Service\u2019 (dedicated to my late wife Devi Damyanti Bisht) is presently uploaded on this website and the printed version of the book will also be released soon for distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keeping in view the traditional values of the Indian Armed Forces, the officers of my battalion (7th<\/sup> Bn The Jat Regiment) i.e. Major General Rohan Anand SM & Mrs. Anshu Anand, Col M S Jaswal & Mrs. Kamna Jaswal, Col L K Rawal, Col S C Singla SM & Mrs. Anita Singla, Mrs. Lata Yadav & Mrs. Pushpa Adhikari came to my residence on 23rd<\/sup> Nov, 2025 while they were in Dehradun to celebrate Annual get-together of Ex- 7 Jat officers. At the age of 85, I was deeply touched for the courtesy shown to me and I conveyed my good wishes to all their family members for a very happy, long and healthy life with the blessings of almighty God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
